Recently we completed a ukulele for Amanda "Pearl" Shires. Amanda is such a talent - singer, songwriter, instrumentalist (fiddle - ukulele). This uke is just like the one Julia Nunes plays (rosewood back and sides, cedar top, mop purfling, B Band pickup), except it is slightly more personalized. Amanda's uke has "Pearl" inlaid (in pearl of course) on the headstock, and a portrait of Amanda on the back. The portrait graphic on the back turned out so well that we plan to offer it as an option. The uke can be ordered with a cowgirl pinup on the back, a custom graphic, or plain (like Julia Nunes wanted hers).
