It is a great thrill and honor to get to build a guitar for someone who wants something different, out of the ordinary. It challenges us as builders, and is great fun! Dr. Joe Vitale gave us a green light on this one. He just wanted a guitar with a top made of something non-traditional. We chose Monkeypod. Our good friend Jeffrey Yong harvests this wood in Malaysia. Jeffrey's guitars made of monkeypod are beautiful and sound great - thus it became the choice for Dr. Joe's new guitar.
