Singer-songwriter-poet-playwrite Andy Wilkinson wanted a guitar small enough to conveniently carry around, but with a "sound as big as Texas." Thus the Saddle Pal was born. This model is only 13 inches across the lower bout, but don't let that fool you. This instrument has a very balanced tone, with a huge voice. The versatility of this model caused Richard Glick of Fine Guitar Consultants to to label it the Chameleon. This guitar seems to accommodate all types of players from concert fingerstyle soloists to singer songwriters, to jazz musicians. It has the ability to be whatever the player is capable of making it.
